渋谷駅には東横線をはじめ、多くの路線が乗り入れています。その複雑さから「迷宮」とも呼ばれる渋谷駅。特に、横浜・元町中華街方面から東横線で到着すると、そこは地下5階。地上3階にある銀座線ホームへは「エスカレーターを上がるだけ」ではあるのですが、道中にはいくつものエスカレーターが交差しており、どれに乗るべきか迷いやすいのが難点です（改札は地上階にあります）。
せっかく上がったのに、別の場所に出てしまった……。そんな失敗をしないために、今回は「正しいエスカレーターの選び方」と、最短で銀座線へ駆け上がるルートを写真付きで案内します。

Shibuya Station is a massive hub often called a “labyrinth.” When arriving from Yokohama or Motomachi-Chukagai on the Toyoko Line, you land at the 5th basement floor (B5F). While the path to the Ginza Line platform on the 3rd floor is mostly a series of escalators, there are so many intersecting escalators along the way that it’s easy to pick the wrong one (note that the gate is on the ground floor).

横浜・元町中華街方面からは「7号車 3番ドア」へ
From Yokohama or Motomachi-Chukagai, head to “Car 7, Door 3.”
東横線渋谷駅のホーム（地下5階）で「7号車」に乗っておけば、降りて目の前が「渋谷ヒカリエ改札」へ向かうエスカレーターになります。8両編成でも10両編成でも、7号車に乗れば間違いありません。
If you board Car No. 7 on the Toyoko Line, you will find the escalators leading to the Shibuya Hikarie Gate right in front of you when you arrive at the B5F platform. Whether your train is an 8-car or 10-car set, Car No. 7 is always the best choice.
3. 【写真図解】東横線から銀座線への乗り換え手順 (Step-by-Step)
- Step1東横線「7号車3番ドア」を降車(Disembark from Car No. 7, Door No. 3)
ホームに到着したら、「7号車3番ドア」付近にあるエスカレーターを目指します。 ※ホームの看板には「副都心線」と表記されていますが、渋谷駅から先が副都心線に切り替わるためです。東横線から来た方もここで降りて問題ありません。 Note: The platform signs may say “Fukutoshin Line” because the line changes names from Shibuya Station onwards. Don’t worry, this is the correct place to get off.
- Step2黄色い看板の案内に沿ってエスカレーターを2つ上る（Take two escalators up, following the yellow signs）
「渋谷ヒカリエ改札」と書かれた黄色い看板の案内に従い、エスカレーターを2つ乗り継いで改札階まで上がります。 Follow the yellow signs for “Shibuya Hikarie Gate” and take two escalators up to the 3rd basement floor (B3F).
- Step3東横線「渋谷ヒカリエ1改札」を出る（Exit through the Toyoko Line “Shibuya Hikarie 1 Gate”）
改札階に着いたら、「渋谷ヒカリエ1改札」を通って駅の外（建物内通路）へ出ます。 Once you reach B3F, go through the “Shibuya Hikarie 1 Gate.”
- Step4改札を出たら「左」へ進む (Turn LEFT after exiting the gate)
改札を出てすぐ左方向へ曲がり、大きな吹き抜け（アーバンコア）の方へ向かいます。 After passing through the gate, turn left. You will see a large open atrium called the “Urban Core” in front of you.
- Step5看板に沿ってエスカレーターを3つ上る（Take three escalators up, following the “Ginza Line” signs）
吹き抜けエリアにある「銀座線」と書かれた看板を追いかけ、エスカレーターを3つ連続で上ります。地下3階から、銀座線改札がある地上階まで一気にワープする感覚です。 Follow the signs for the “Ginza Line” and take three consecutive escalators up. You will go from B3F straight to the ground floor where the Ginza Line gate is located.
- Step6エスカレーターを上りきったら右へ進む(Turn right at the top of the escalators)
地上階まで上がりきったら、道なりに右方向へ進んでください。すぐに銀座線の改札が見えてきます。 Once you reach the ground level, follow the path to the right. The Ginza Line gate will be just ahead.
- Step7銀座線「明治通り方面改札」に到着！ （Arrive at the Ginza Line “Meiji-dori Avenue Gate”!）
お疲れ様でした！「明治通り方面改札」に到着です。 ※改札を通過した後、さらにエスカレーターを地上3階まで上ると銀座線のホームに到着します。 You’ve made it! After passing through the “Meiji-dori Avenue Gate,” take the final escalator up to the 3rd floor to reach the Ginza Line platform.
4. まとめと注意点 (Tips)
- 東横線から銀座線への乗り換えは、7号車に乗って「渋谷ヒカリエ1改札」を出るのが一番の近道です。 （The shortest way to transfer from the Toyoko Line to the Ginza Line is to ride in Car No. 7 and exit through the “Shibuya Hikarie 1 Gate.”）
- 「オレンジ色のGマーク」だけを信じる（Follow the orange “G” icons）
渋谷駅は非常に案内板が多いですが、迷ったらオレンジ色の「G」マーク（銀座線のシンボル）だけを追いかけてください。それが最短ルートの目印です。Shibuya Station has many signs, but if you get lost, just follow the orange “G” marks (the symbol for the Ginza Line). This is the key to the shortest route. - 「上り」エスカレーターであることを確認（Check the direction）
吹き抜けエリア（アーバンコア）には下り方向のエスカレーターも混在しています。必ず「上り」かつ「銀座線」の表示がある方に乗るようにしましょう。In the atrium area (Urban Core), there are also down escalators. Make sure you are taking the “Up” escalator that displays the “Ginza Line” sign.
